This hardy bog plant has unusual, grasslike, wiry, twisted stems. Very effective when grown in containers and excellent in dried floral arrangements. Combine with trollius, houttunyia, lizard's tail or ligularia for a delightful blend of colors and textures. Prefers continually moist, acid (sour) soil.
