Dazzling spires of pea-shaped flowers rise impressively above textured mounds of palmlike leaves. Excellent choice for summer bouquets or attracting butterflies to the garden. Remove faded flower spikes to encourage reblooming. Prefers cool, evenly moist sites and slightly acid (sour) soil.
