Abundant, fragrant flowers are long-lasting and attract butterflies and hummingbirds. This North American native deciduous shrub has good fall color and is an excellent shrub for the back of the border, as a foundation plant, or for naturalizing. Deer resistant. Prefers moist, well-drained acidic (sour) soil.
