Handsome evergreen shrub is very tolerant of pruning and shaping. Well-suited for topiary, entryways or hedging. Flowers in spring are insignificant but very fragrant. Prune in summer. Prefers fertile, well-drained soil and some shade.

This narrow, columnar tree is covered with grayish-green needle-like leaves. Its unique and very particular shape make it an outstanding landscape accent or topiary. Small cones emerge in fall. May benefit from shelter from wind. Drought tolerant and adaptable to various soils.
